Under normal circumstances Ingenieurbuero Erckert is not interrested in filing own patents. Usually patents are a side effect of daily work. In most cases the ownership of the patents is transferred to our customers. So my name 'Ricardo Erckert' gets mentioned but the owner of the patent is some other company. Sometimes there even are patents filed at the same time (but of course different topics) by different customers.
To avoid any conflict Ingenieurbuero Erckert never works on related project for different customers. If we work for one customer on a certain topic this specific topic gets blocked for all other customers for at least 5 years. This gives our customers time to reach production and get ahead of competition. So if we refuse to do a certain project for you please don't be upset. The field may already be occupied by an other customer - and of course, if we get asked to work on a topic we are already working on for you, we will refuse and protect you in the same way.
The following table lists the patents I'm on the list of inventors. Some topics are patented multiple times for different markets, sometimes with delays of a decade or more! So a huge table doesn't mean it is really significant. The source of the list was a google patents search carried out August 21 2025. (Often I don't even get informed when customers filed a patent based on one of my circuits. I'm surprised myself!)
